past week so have not kept up very well on Ethan's progress. Here, at

<DIV>Some major milestones Saturday:<BR><BR>- Ethan has been yawning, coughing,
stretching, reaching for things, trying to take of his c-collar and leg brace
today<BR><BR>- He said "owwww" when the nurses tried to move him this
evening<BR><BR>- He has eaten some more slushie and even upgraded to a popsicle
when the slushie machine died. He was able to suck on it and open his
mouth enough to bite of and chew pieces of it.<BR><BR>- He has been very
intentional with his movements today. He moved his lips as if he were saying
something but no sound came out. He tried to take all of his braces and
monitors off. He helped roll himself when the nurses needed to shift his
position for cleaning.<BR><BR> - Ethan's condition has improved enough to
move him from the Pediatric ICU (4C) to the intermediat<WBR>e care unit
(4N). The supervisor that I talked to here tonight indicated that all of
Ethan's progress was inline with what they are expecting to
