From pastor at bbc-cortland.org Thu Jan 7 12:12:23 2010 From: pastor at bbc-cortland.org (Harold H Comings) Date: Thu, 7 Jan 2010 12:12:23 -0500 Subject: [ESF] Milo Thompson has Moved Message-ID: <9EF72AA549A44D6AA0B03ED0E59026C4@HaroldPC> Greetings All, Just received a note from Milo Thompson which I think you will find worth checking out. Milo writes... For nine years now Bev and I have made our home in Florida, coming north from about May 1 to October 1. Consequently pastors in the Northeast got used to my being more readily available for scheduling meetings from May to October. This past fall we made the decision to move back to Clarks Summit due to Bev's health issues. This will allow us to be nearer family, her specialist doctors, and for me to continue in a full schedule of meetings and coaching among the pastors and churches. I will be taking meetings any place in the country as in the past, but by being in Clarks Summit it will also make me more readily available for ministry in the Northeast, not only in the summer but also in the fall, winter, and spring. Pastors in New York may not be aware of my move back to Clarks Summit year round and that I am now available year round. There are some openings yet this spring and beyond, and I would count it a privilege to serve any of the pastors and churches. It would be a joy to share in ministry with them in a Bible Conference, seminar, coaching, a time over lunch, or pulpit supply when they are away. Rachel's father, Mr. Wagstaff, is a missionary in Haiti. There has been no contact with him since the earthquake. A couple missionaries from his group have been in touch with their families and have reported that the two of them are okay, but no word has been given concerning Mr. Wagstaff. Chad Barber, history teacher at Cortland Christian Academy, posted this... << I went to Haiti in '08 and met a super nice Christian brother named Joseph. He was our translator and just an awesome man of God. He lives near the center of the quake zone...not sure how he is yet. Many prayers appreciated! At Prayer Meeting tonight it was pointed out that the Honorable Raymond Joseph (Haitian ambassador to the United States) is a practicing and godly Christian.
