[ESF] Fred Whitman Update

Rachel Whitman has sent the following information.

<< Today Fred's MRI was finally read and they are now saying that he did in fact suffer a mini stroke. They plan to have him begin speech therapy soon. He has not had any more extreme episodes, for which we are thankful. When he speaks slowly he is completely understandable, so he will jsut need to be patient as he tries to communicate.

<< We hope that since there is now a diagnosis they will send him home soon; he definitely has "hospitalitus". However, during this time in the hospital he has been able to witness to many folks, and he has met several nurses who are regular listeners of our radio station, Radio Luce.

<< We thank so many of you who have written, assuring us of your love and prayers. We are humbled to know we have such a wonderful team of prayer suporters. Yesterday I decided to take my laptop to the hospital so Fred could read all of your notes. I am sorry if I could not answer each one of you, but I know you understand. When Fred is laid up I am even more aware of how much he does in one day. I am not as efficient as he is in all of the daily tasks.
